Winegarden
Waterfront Park is located downtown Gibsons on the waterfront
near the marina and yacht club. The park was a group effort by
the community to provide a comfortable, clean area for sightseeing,
walking and relaxing.
The Winegarden Waterfront Park is a joy to explore
from the trickling waterfall tumbling from the pond. The well
maintained pathway and clean grassy areas is inviting and, very
much, appreciated by all who are sprawled out on the lawn taking
in the coastline activity.
The waterfront park has carved wooden viewing benches scattered
throughout. There is a cedar carved artistic bus shelter, bridges
and many different floral colors and scents contributed by the
selection of the flowers and shrubbery in the park. The Winegarden
Waterfront Park is a treasure and a beautiful colorful display
brightening up the village streets in Gibsons Landing.
Access to Winegarden Waterfront Park: The best
access to the beach is by using the Seawalk starting from the
very recognizable "Molly's Reach Restaurant" which to
many BC locals is considered an icon.
Or park in downtown Gibsons Landing and shop the stores before
visiting this colorful park. |
