Iris Griffith Wetlands is a community wetlands park located in Pender Harbour in the downtown core of Madeira Park. The short boardwalk path extends above the wetlands and the wildlife. The boardwalk trail has some viewing benches and interpretive signs along the short path.

About 20 minutes north of Madeira Park, or 1 Km south of Ruby Lake is the eco friendly Iris Griffith Field Studies Centre. The centre is central to putting on regular educational seminars about the environment and wildlife in the area.

Access to Iris Griffith Wetlands: The wetlands are in the core of the community of Madeira Park in Pender Harbour. Get on the main road called Madeira Park Rd. look for a Post Office or Pender Harbour Community Church. Easy to find. Park and go.
